What is the difference between a slow juicer and a traditional juicer?
With a Fagor Platino the juice is extracted from the food by carefully crushing and pressing the fruit twice before entering the glass rather than shredding and tearing the food. This helps to preserve more of the organic vitamins and nutrients in your juice. The Platino automatically separates the pulp from the juice, so there is no debris to clog the juicer. Slow juicing allows you to consume more fruits and vegetables in one glass than you can eat at one time. The result is a more delicious, healthier glass of juice.

Leaves are also easier to process through the slow juicer when they are dry, it is recommended to dry leaves before juicing. Various types of greens may have the tendency to occasionally clog the slow juicer, if this should happen, you can easily clear this up by inserting a few pieces of fibrous foods, like celery or beets.
