OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES


Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Makes: 18 cookies

Time: 15 minutes


 INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup chocolate chips

 DIRECTIONS

  1. Using a mixer, combine the butter, brown sugar, honey, egg and water thoroughly. Sift together the dry ingredients then stir in the oats. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix. Add chocolate chips and mix well.
  2. Drop by level tablespoonful’s of dough onto the cookie sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  3. Bake using Cookie Function for 15 minutes. Allow cookies to sit on cookie sheet for 3-4 minutes before removing to cool on a wire rack.
