SLOW COOKER STUFFING


Slow Cooker Stuffing

Serves: 8 1-cup servings 

Cooking time: 4-5 hours


 INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley
  • 10 ounces fresh mushrooms -- sliced
  • 6 cups dry bread cubes
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • ½ teaspoons dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried marjoram
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 2 eggs – beaten

 DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt butter in multi-cooker using the Brown setting. Cook onion, celery, mushroom, and parsley in butter, stirring frequently until onions are translucent.
  2. Add bread cubes, herbs, salt and pepper.
  3. Pour in enough broth to moisten, and mix in eggs.
  4. Cover multi-cook and cook stuffing on LOW slow cooker setting 4-5 hours.
