Induction is the only cooking surface that not only provides ultra rapid & precise heating, but also saves an astounding amount of energy. An induction cooktop very closely resemblances a glass top or radiant electric cooking surface, however, the operation and components are quite different.

How does it work?
Induction cooktops contain a series of elements beneath the surface called induction coils, which operate on magnetic principals. These coils generate magnetic fields that induct a warming reaction in steel and iron-based pots or pans.

What is different is that a magnetic reaction between the coils and the cookware placed on the surface is what generates heat – not the surface itself. This means that the cookware heats the food, not the stovetop!
